It was in April 2007 when Samuel Mumo was registered in the home at HBC. This boy came here when he was 4 years old. During this time he had a problem with handling items in his hands which we attributed to malnutrition. We nurtured and fed him well to such an extent where this boy regained his health and improved positively. Because he only lived with just his grandfather, Samuel was anti-social which took him about 1-1/2 years to come out of. We really helped him to be engaged in social circles with other children. Now the boy is very social and makes a lot of fun. He is very good academically although he rated to either position 2 or 3. His ambition is to become the Vice President of Kenya one day. In fact, this boy during the closing school day at the end of last year, he named himself after the current Vice President of Kenya (Kalonzo Musyoka). This boy is in very good health and has the added advantage of being a singer. Thank You for the hand you are giving to this child.
