Steven came to this home with his twin sister Mary when he was two and half years old. He found a much better home to be in. This child also had no hope of living. His fingers and toes were full of jiggers. All over the hands. In fact, holding anything with his hands was a problem or even stepping or walking on the floor was big problem. This boy never afforded any smile until Rick, Lisa and Pat came and gave him some candies. That’s when we saw his first smile! It’s amazing! He is now fours years and four months old. Steven joined the Kindergarten Pre-unit class this January 2010. He seems to be enjoying the school work and homework as well. He is joyous and likes to play a lot. When he grows up he would like to be a driver. Thank-you for the big help you gave to Steven.

Stephen is Mary Njeri’s twin brother and was brought in by the District Children Officer after hearing of the neglect and abuse in the home. The father is a drunkard and the mother who was pregnant with her 9th child didn’t take care of the twins neither. He was about 3 years old at the time.
