Agape came to this home a very tormented boy and was opposing any form of authority. He could not let go of any dangerous item, be it a knife or any sharp object. Brian was around four years old when he came to this centre. The noticeable problem in his life was poor feeding which has reduced his size and stagnated his growth. He was a fearful boy, but after days of attending him he opened up and is a real joker now. He is in class one at school and likes playing football (soccer) and athletics. James came when he was slightly below four years old. He came to this home a lonely boy who kept to himself for sometime. Through loving and understanding, the boy was able to open up and he ended up becoming very social and friendly. This boy is in class one and rated in position three or four in school. Kennedy is a brother to Brian Macharia and both live in Harvest Blessings Centre. Kennedy is the younger of the two. When the two brothers arrived at HBC, both of them were without hope and very malnourished with swollen stomachs. We managed the problem through proper feeding though. Macharia is a Kikuyu name which means, a person who has the zeal to seek for wealth. Brian came to this home when he was four years old. He is now 7 and a few months. In school, he is currently in Class One, but a below average performer in his class. He loves to be with Dad though and is most comfortable doing masculine jobs like feeding the cows, clearing the compound, or just being wherever Dad is. He likes helping in washing dishes and assisting in other cleaning jobs....
